The Weimaraner is a large dog that was originally bred for hunting in the early 19th century. The breed was created exclusively for the German nobility with the aim of establishing a noble-looking, reliable gun dog. With its restricted ownership and natural instinct, the breed was highly prized and lived with the family. This was unusual since during this period hunting dogs were kept in kennels in packs. This has resulted in a dog that needs to be near humans and that quickly deteriorates when kenneled. The Weimaraner is an all-purpose family dog, capable of guarding the home, and of course, being loving and loyal towards children.
This Weimaraner lives the life of a princess with my daughter, her significant other and three feline siblings.
Hello, and thank you for visiting this website. I love the process of being creative so I'm not tethered by just one medium. My art is inspired by the all the beautiful things in nature. I have lived most of my life by the beach; so sun, sand and surf are part of every day and show up in lots of my paintings. My love of animals and flowers also plays into my desire to paint beautiful things. I love color and express myself in oil, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil and mosaic. I do commissions and would be happy to discuss any project with you; just drop me an email. 2011 SOLO Exhibition, Susex Room CopperFlame Gallery, Canada Winner "Life is for Living" - SCAN Health Plan of California Enjoy
